Housecalls for Individual Therapy or Family Therapy

Some people prefer to remain in the comfort of their own homes or offices instead of coming into an office to receive therapy. For those who are interested, house call services are available. A licensed therapist employed by Dr. Judice solely to provide therapy in comfort of your home or office can meet with you on an ongoing basis.

Some people might ask why we would provide a house call service. There are several reasons that we believe this is such a valuable service, including the following:

1. It allows clients to have a level of privacy not otherwise available to them. Some clients are not comfortable waiting for an appointment in a waiting room where they might be seen by people that they know.

Sometimes people are not able to get away from their homes or offices for enough time to allow them to drive through traffic, have an hour session, and drive back. Our ability to come to you makes it much easier for you to make therapy fit into your busy schedule.
   
   
3. It allows you to work on issues or concerns that make therapy in the traditional office setting difficult. For example, someone who is afraid to leave the house or go out in public might not pursue treatment due to the fear of leaving the home. At-home therapy is able to help such clients who otherwise might not get the help they need. This service also makes family assessments more effective. Some families might have parenting troubles that are not resolved with traditional therapy because the problems that bring the family to therapy are not happening in the therapist's office. However, when the therapist is able to evaluate the family in their own environment, other solutions can become evident.
